Might be time to break out the bubbly in cupertino. They finally have enough marketshare to be noticed by the creeps making Spam Cop-like extortion/phishing malware. This is like some kind of twisted backwards validation that they have arrived.
One of the grerat myths is that Macs are more secure than Windows machines. This regularly proves to be false at hacking competitions. The big difference has always seemed to be market share. Even hackers want to reach the largest audience. Plus there is a perception that Windows users are more likely to be less techy and therefore easier pickings. I don't think that's as true today as it was a few years ago.
